Privacy Policy
What we collect (very little), what third parties may collect, and your rights under Indian law.
Last updated: 7 Oct 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Nezler Tech Tales (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated by Nezler Technologies, handles information when you visit https://techtales.nezler.tech (the “Site”). We have written it to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and rules as they come into force.
1. The short version
- We don't run user accounts, comment forms or newsletters on this Site, and we don't sell personal data.
- Our web host keeps standard server logs for security.
- When you click an affiliate link to Amazon.in or Flipkart, those companies may set cookies on your browser so they can credit us for the referral.
- We use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to count visitors and see which pages are popular. It uses cookies but we never receive your name or contact details, and we don't use it for advertising. You can opt out any time (see below).
2. Information we collect
a. Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting server automatically records technical information when you visit. This includes your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, the referring page, and the date and time. We use these logs only to keep the Site secure, prevent abuse and fix errors. Our hosting provider stores them for a limited period.
b. Information you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply to you and keep it only as long as needed for that purpose.
c. Preferences stored in your browser
If you switch between light and dark mode, or make a cookie choice, we remember it in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.
d. Analytics (Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics)
We use Google Tag Manager (a tool that loads our measurement code) and Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how many people visit, which pages and guides are read, roughly which city or region visits come from, and which device or browser is used.
- Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as
_gaand_ga_*) and processes your IP address, device and browser details, pages visited and how you arrived. We see this only as aggregate reports; it does not tell us who you are. - We do not use Google Analytics data for advertising or ad personalisation, and advertising storage is switched off.
- How to opt out: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, block cookies for this site in your browser settings, or use a private/incognito window.
Google's processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
3. Third parties, affiliate links and cookies
This Site contains affiliate links to Amazon.in and Flipkart. When you click one, you leave our Site. Third parties, including Amazon, Flipkart and other advertisers, may serve content and advertisements, collect information directly from visitors, and place or recognise cookies on visitors' browsers. These cookies help them attribute purchases to our referral. Their use of your data is governed by their own policies:
We do not receive your name, address, payment details or order history from Amazon or Flipkart. We only see aggregate reports, such as the number of items ordered through our links.
YouTube videos
Embedded videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and load only when you click play. After that, Google/YouTube may process data under its policies.
Fonts and scripts
Our fonts and site scripts are served from our own server. Apart from Google Tag Manager/Analytics (described above) and YouTube (only when you press play), we don't load Google Fonts, social widgets or ad trackers.
4. Purpose and legal basis
We process the limited data described above for legitimate uses: operating and securing the Site, responding to your messages, and measuring aggregate visitor statistics. We don't use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
5. Sharing
We don't sell, rent or trade personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us run the Site (such as our hosting provider and Google, for Tag Manager and Analytics), or when required by law or a lawful order of a government authority.
6. Data retention and security
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above. The Site is served over HTTPS with security headers. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable security practices and procedures, as required under Section 43A of the IT Act, to protect information.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- access information about personal data we hold about you;
- correct, complete, update or erase it;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; and
- have your grievances addressed.
To exercise these rights, email techtales@nezler.tech. We will respond within the timelines set by law.
8. Children
The Site is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, the Grievance Officer for this Site is:

Email: techtales@nezler.tech
Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India
We'll acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days. If you're not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the “Last updated” date above whenever we do.
